Fish Curry

























Among all the non-veg dishes FISH is my favourite..since its good for heart and also health..Here is the recipe for Fish Lovers...

Ingredients:
Fish Pieces-1kg
Onion-1 large
Tomotoes-2 large
Gingergarlic paste-1/2 table spoon
Turmeric Powder-1/2 table spoon
Tamarind-Big lemon size
Green chillies-5no
RedChilli powder-1 table spoon
CorianderLeaves-handfull
Masala powder-1 table spoon
Oil-5 table spoons
Kasoori methi- 1 teaspoon

Procedure:
1)Clean the fish and add redchilli powder,salt and tumeric powder to fish pieces and keep aside.
2)Cut the onion into dices and make a puree out of them and keep aside.
3)Make a puree of tomatoes also.
4)Add water to tamarind till its immersed and microwave it for 2 min and squeeze to make a pulp.
5)Heat oil in a pan add green chillies and fry well.
6)Add onion paste to the pan and fry till water oozes out from the onion paste,then add gingergarlic paste and fry for 3 min.
7)Then add tomato puree and fry until it become thick paste.
8)Add salt,redchilli,masala powder to the gravy at this point.
9)Now add tamarind pulp,close the lid and cook until oil floats on top and raw smell of tamarind disappears.
10)Add kasoori methi for a nice aroma and stir well.
11)Layer the fish pieces on top and close the lid to let them cook in the tamarind juice for atleast 15 min.
12)Add coriander leaves before turning off the stove.

Delicious and healthy fish curry or pulusu is ready!!!
